Temperatures Monday will be at least 10 degrees higher than they normally are in mid-November, but a cold front will arrive Tuesday to cool much of Utah.

The western two-thirds of the state have been issued a hazardous weather outlook Tuesday through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. It warns of a storm system moving through the area expected to bring “much cooler” temperatures, snow accumulation in the mountains and some possible light accumulation in northern and central Utah valleys.

Salt Lake City highs are expected to reach 62 degrees Monday and 56 degrees Tuesday. Overnight, temperatures are forecast to drop to about 40 degrees.

In the St. George area, highs Monday will be in the lower 70s. Overnight temperatures will drop into the lower 40s before reaching the lower 70s again Tuesday.

Monday is expected to be warm and mostly sunny throughout the state, while Tuesday brings a chance of rain in northern Utah and partly cloudy in central and southern Utah.
