Students at Mueller Park Junior High School on Friday and Saturday performed “The Berlin Candy Bomber,” an original musical based on the story of Gail Halvorsen.
Halvorsen, a Utah native, delivered candy by airplane to German children after World War II. The famed airman gave a video presentation at both performances of the musical.
